The results
We recently implemented eController in a retail chain with hundreds of stores. On average, HVAC accounted for about 50% of their energy consumption, while lighting contributed 25%.
By adjusting temperature setpoints and HVAC operating schedules, we achieved 18% energy savings on total consumption. At the same time, we optimised comfort levels for store occupants.
In fact, the wireless sensors installed allowed us to fine-tune the system to ensure maximum comfort while reducing energy wast beyond that point.

The Gateway
Installed on site, this device interacts with the controllers and sensors using LoRaWAN to enable real-time data exchange with our cloud software.
The Cloud software
The eController’s intuitive interface makes it easy to adjust lighting schedules based on occupancy or set HVAC systems to run more efficiently during peak and off-peak hours. This platform allows you to monitor, configure and control your energy systems from anywhere, while giving you the insight you need to configure the best controller actions.

Going further
The installed infrastructure, i.e. gateway and dedicated sensors, can be used for electricity, water and gas meters to complete your view of your consumption.
This is particularly interesting for buildings without smart meters, where we otherwise have no insight into your consumption.
