Finding a balance between occupant comfort and energy consumption is quite a challenge. At The Hotel Brussels (Pandox AB), energy services company Sensorea installed Energis.Cloud in 2018 to remotely monitor water and energy consumption, as well as temperature, in order to prevent waste, mainly due to water leaks and equipment malfunctions. During the COVID-19 crisis, remote energy monitoring proved to be essential, as it enabled the company to quickly detect and respond to faults despite the lockdown.
